This one:

It's a standard Cynergy body, but the wing fits it beautifully, and of course, you can't fault their colour choice. It looks better with the other front end (with the headlights). Shame they're planning on getting rid of it :-(

You do like a bit of black don't you?!

It is a nice car, always thought it would go quicker, seem to remember it running a 6.11 3 or 4 years ago?

It is a good looking car, would love it if it could be made into an altered body.

that car wont be sold for a while yet they have another brand new 63 mcamiss built vett chassis they are building up slowly to use with the twin turbo/EFI 521 bae which is prety much ready,

they will run both cars untill they feel the turbo deal is competitive, they realise it will take a couple of years dont panic

You say that like there's some other valid colour for a racecar... :-)

The cynical might say that it ran 6.11 due to Krister's magic touch and that now he's not involved any more they've struggled to regain their form. They're still quick, but they've seemed to lack that extra spark this year. Either way, the qualifying run to win the championship in 2008 still ranks as one of the most impressive drives I've seen.

i dont think they lost their spark! the fact is to go faster in these things its just not a case of adding more power, the whole set up changes as you strive to improve and its easy to struggle for a while Urban did and now he found himself again Andy is now struggling as are we,and others have moved on which makes it harder, power is a small part of it Gunnarson is well down on power compared to some but went 6.04 at only 228 but he hit the sweet spot, pro mod is without Doubt the toughest class there is to be competitive in, you have to move away from your comfort zone to go faster and learn it all over again, and thats whats happening to a lot of top teams, Mats is a prime example hes trying new stuff which makes him look like hes lost it, you got to also remember Adam and Johan both brought proven 5 sec cars Turnkey it took Adam a year and johan hasnt managed it yet,
not only would it be cynical it would be bloody wrong to say kristers departure has hurt the twins any more than any crew changes upset the continuity in the pit to some degree
hes knows a lot for sure but i dont think KP would say that

Yes, the comment about Krister was a bit tongue in cheek, but to the outsider, it does seem like the teams he's with end up winning, and then struggling after he moves on. By saying they've lost their spark, I'm referring to the fact that previously, the car seemed to have an edge to it, it launched incredibly hard and seemed to just keep pulling all the way down the track. In the last couple of years, it hasn't appeared to do that. I'm not criticizing the twins at all. They've always come across as nice guys when I've chatted to them in the pits, and I'm sure it's not down to any lack of effort on their part. As the old saying goes, I'm sure they don't turn up to lose. They're there to win. As are the rest of you. Which all makes for a great spectator experience for the rest of us...

I admit he had a spate of winning teams Patrick, Urban and then the twins, There is no doubt he knows his stuff, but its moved on a long way in the last few years the twins were no 4 i beleive in fia points last year won hockenheim 09 and were outside contenders for the 2009 championship untill they had a first round loss at the finals, incidently the first car down the track deal at 09:30 am on race day can be prety tough for a pro mod,
I think if you look at the stastics you will see their still up there launching hard, 60 ft times cirtainly havent dropped, pulling all the way down the track...well thats the part where everyone struggles you have two manual gearchanges to get through befour the eight mile which takes about 4 sec dead or just under,
and the clutch has to deliver that power properly, attain the correct wheelspeed, in the correct time frame, With the variables of the track which is constantly changing throughout the day, is it rocket science...you bet it is...if it wasnt youd think once you have a set up its constantly repetable...it just isnt, These are without doubt the most track sensitive cars out there, How long is it since a champ in a blown pm repeated??? i think MG is about the most consistant fast car out there and hes not exactly a beginner...
