Good work enthusiast. Am I alone in thinking fuel racing seems to be a bit short? About 320 feet too short? I understand the safety and financial implications of 1000 ft racing but.... it just looks too short.

When i went over to the vegas/pomona finals I thought the same. You notice it more when you are at the finishline.Theres alot of difference. Watching at the startline it doesnt seem as bad. I dont think they have reached there optimal performance until after 1000ft. When Schumacher ran the 325mph you could tell it was picking up alot of speed at the topend but ran out of distance.

Couldn't agree more. 1000ft fuel racing (and 1/8 mile anything for that matter) always looks like it's over, how can I put this delicately, a tad prematurely?
