I have organised TVR get togethers at York but now realizing that there are a lot of cars wanting to race at the pod decided to run posts on Pistonheads and the TVR Car club forums to gauge the interest. We already have 50 cars listed including the countries highest powered cars. I am predicting at least 3 or 4 to run 10’s. See my posts below.

Original idea, discussion and list of entrants

Poll for dates that people would want to go

Poll for dates that people cannot attend

As you can see I am trying to finalize a date to get the most cars together and it looks like the favourite date at the moment is July 9th which is the RWYB saturday before the BMW show on the Sunday.
Does anyone have any thoughts or advice on this?

Get along to one of the club days at Shakespeare County Raceway too, you might get a bit more track time.

If you have that many, have you thought about doing a club day?

If you want the track time you might be better getting booked into a peak performance day early on; its usually limited to a number of vehicles so get in their early and you could have the track almost to yourselves

Thats a good idea and something i will be looking into.
It doesnt work for the club however because most of the dates are on a working day. We are looking for a date that doesnt clash with other TVR events also.

It seems we may be taking our chances on the RWYB Saturday on the 9th July ahead of the BMW show on the Sunday.
I was there last year and the Saturday wasnt too busy.
