Lewy, this event is 6 weeks away lad, calm yourself. Just buy your ticket, tip up on either the Thursday or Good Friday either pitch your tent, wind the legs down on your caravan or level your motorhome, have a beer, walk the pits and just enjoy the event.

It makes it hard to make the decision to go to the meeting when racers havent entered but intend to compete, every big meeting has ED making the announcement that the closing date for entries is "fast approaching" but some seem to overlook it (I appreciate some may be waiting for parts to arrive and jobs on vehicles to be completed), for some fans its a logistic+financial thing to make plans and the number of entries can be a deciding factor
Actuly id agree with this
yes the entry costs and parts may not have arrived. and we're in that same boat. but to get on the entry list cost exactly nothing, just a quick phone call and your on, if circumstances mean you have to pull out then so be it,
But i can see the spectators point on this one

Agreed but the 4 day events are pretty reliable.veryoldfart said:

Quite often entries are with the SPRC well in advance of the deadline, but a racer may ask that their participation not be publicised until such time as they are certain that they will be there.Gassing Station | Drag Racing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
