Top Methanol Thunderball Low entry!

With such healthy fields in alot of the classes racing at the Thunderball, it is a shame to see that Top Methanol is so low on numbers lots of teams missing anybody know why?

The thing is the UK entry in all the Pro classes except Pro Mod is a bit thin, neither Andy Carter nor the new F and R car are in T/F, there is no Spuff or Page { both originally listed} in funny let alone some of the rumoured cars like the ex Nastaas, Houndog etc, and then there is no Flyn, Turner, or Rampage in Top Methanol. Still 6 fuel cars is enough to get me up early so if the weather is OK I should be there on Sunday.

There was rumours Lindsay Deuchar would be there with the new dragster but not on the list

Everything is virtually ready to go but no crew - any reliable local (west/south Yorkshire) volunteers out there? if they contact me and rekindle my interest then we will be out this year

If only I Lived in West Yorkshire still my Dad and I would have loved to have helped, how many crew members are you short by?, its a real shame that there is a lack of interest, you should advertise that your after crew on the "Swap Meet" section on eurodragster that may be worth a good shot.

Been there, done that (twice) - will probably try again - advert on the website www.laracing.co.uk for 2 years now - we definitely need 2 but 3 would be better - no pay but never go hungry or dry when you're with us

Basically fit the new automatic fuel shut-off/parachute release and build up the spare motor 3-4 days work, that isn't the problem - it's having 2 or 3 guys to help turn it around between rounds and between races, back in the workshop - something/somebody may turn up but nothing on the horizon at the moment unfortunately.

Two cars = no championship round , no points, and no money,
they cant run a class with 2 cars, so what will they do with them? put them in the pro fuel show maybe? but then they would need paying pro fuel money...............difficult one

No, Relentless name will stay with the altered. Funny car will be named after sponsor...We hope.

whats happened to Rob Turner ? saw them a few weeks ago in their unit working on the funny car body. Expected him to be on the list as hes been a regular for years, since the early 90's . He's a driver i have always supported and remember the days when he raced against Barry Shievels, Anita Makela , Doug Bond etc in Alky Dragster.
