Hey guys,

Was wondering if anyone caught the wheel stand at the thunderball this weekend, would be good to see some footage from the bank side so we can piece together what exactly happened. Anything would be great

Cheers

Chris

One of our members from Rebel V8 (Steve Caton) was there and captured the wheelstand perfectly.

I won't post the pictures here as Steve has copyright on them but please visit the thread here http://rebel-v8.co.uk/showthread.php?p=72160#post7... and have a look.

I'm sure he will gte you hi-res copies if you ask him nicely.

There are three pics of that wheelie on eurodragster.com´s gallery,
one from trackside and two from the grandstand, hover with your mouse over these and you may find the contact,
if not I am sure Tog can help you.
Hope the damage is not terminating this season, too ?
Looked very spectacular in these pics (one showed a bent? wheelie bar), how is the driver doing ?

Driver is fine physically! the chassis top rail is bent from the roll cage and the sump took a big knock motor looks ok at the minute but will get a better idea of things when we strip it all down.

Hi Jon,

Ive seen Marks shots he was kind enough to come and find us in the pits, again another lovely series.
We couldnt believe it when it happened, we didnt even launch hard. All dad wanted to do was a 60ft, which we did in a 1.2 which was the real wheels!
