2009 CR-V popping / jumping out of 1st gear

Hi All

My dad has got a 2009 2.2 CDti 6 speed manual CR-V. Recently it has been jumping out of 1st gear when off the throttle / under engine braking. Any ideas on the cause? It's not quite two years old yet and has only done 17k miles, he's hoping the warranty will cover it.

Any advice appreciated.

I should hope so! Might be a detent issue - Perhaps a selector shaft not staying in place as a result?

Hi Sorry to here you also have a problem with The gear box there are many who have and Honda know about it get it in and then sell the car on, like we have with outr 2010 Civic Type R they are st....20 years I have been buying Hondas and its time to under stand if England builds it stay away from it sorry if it hurts but it seems we just can't do it....
