Hi All,

My S2 is due a service, first since ive owned it. Has Mobil1 5w30 in at the moment, inclined to just get some more as it doesnt burn any oil currently.

Interested to see what other people are using / recommend?

I'm using the same as that's what the main dealer used at the last service and I didn't want to mix. No complaints....

I wrote this in my project thread:

"I used Mobil fully synthetic 5w40 as this is what was used at the last oil change. For reference, 10w30 is preferred for improved fuel economy (it needs to say "API service SJ or SL"), and 5w40 is normally used if the temperature in your area goes down to -20!"

Taken from the owners manual....

I use 5-30 fully, was tempted to go for 10-40 but the main dealer wouldnt put it in opting for their own 5-30 so I stuck with that
