Fault code P0171

My 2009 civic type r has been stood fr ages at a dealer, it has teicr thrown up the fault code P0171 resulting in an engine management light to come on but no loss of performance what so ever. Both occasions it has come on just after starting, not first thing in the morning, after a run and ive parked for a couple of mins. I have read a few things online and i wanted to clean the MAF sensor ? How do i do it ? The car is a 09 with 10,000kms on the clock

The fault code p0171 relates to fuel system too lean p0102 and p0103 relate to maf sensor. Did you have only one dtc present? Have you checked the valve clearences?
