October drive

Given the wonderful weather we've been having I did a drive yesterday, trying to get one last run of the passes in before they finally close (last year that was in September so we're doing well).

A quick afternoon run: Susten - Grimsel - Furka. Empty roads, beautiful views.

Great pics beautiful area thanks for posting. We where thinking it would be way to late for a run over those passes. We where there last year when all those floods where on and the passes where closed due to landslides. We where stuck in meiringen for 3 days.

Well done and great photos too. I'm sure you enjoyed yourself. That's what I see these last couple of times on the Nufenen (before snow closes it done for the winter) and even some empty large semis in the hairpins. Epic moments when you arrive face to face. They always win.

On Sunday afternoon I was here in Vorarlberg on tour with my TVR.

Feldkirch - Furkajoch - Damuels - Au - Hochtannberg - Lech/Zuers - Stuben - Bludenz - Feldkirch

A short run. Mostly not much traffic and fast driving.
Maybe this was the last weekend in season 2012 for my TVR.

I think it was really the last Trip for my Tiv on high alpine roads.
Last Sunday another Week has passed and I was suprised by 10cm Snow on the lawn - and we live not on the top of the hills ;-)
