Assuming he hasn't got a junior race licence then lots of the race schools do an early drive type day.

Motorsport events do a Junior driving experience, not quite a track but it teaches them the basics.

Treatme.net do junior driving days in Ferraris and Lambos etc or you can do an "earlydrive" session at Oulton Park in BMW 1 series - a bit more emphasis on the learning than the car obviously!

Rockingham do something for 14+ Think it's an instructed driving lesson and a lap of the circuit in a Mini.

Unless driver has a race licence and is accompanied by a grade A ARDS instructor. Then they can drive at 14.

MSV state that the youngsters have to be in junior race cars as well. They brought this in after I did a day with Tom Dunstan at snetterton in a radical when he was 14!

Track experiences where they are driving are 12-16, there are a few around if you google for them.

My 12 year old did one with Everyman. Criteria being aged 12 and 4'10" (or greater).

He drove an Evo 8 and Fezza 360 roadster. No dual controls although he had an instructor in.

Here's a pic or two.....
