Is anyone else doing this trackday - organised by Easytrack on the 27th of June? I have only done Anglesea and Oulton Park before (and plenty of hillclimbs and sprints). Compared to those large wide tracks - Cadwell looks more like a hillclimb - very narrow in places! Watching videos to, most of the corners you seem to actually be able to take faster than they first appear, it looks demanding!

Its a track i've always wanted to try though, can't wait.

Careful................... wink

It's a great track but deserves respect and a bit of caution in places at first. I'd recommend a session with an instructor as they can show you a lot of Cadwell's hidden secrets and danger points (ET instructors know their way round whistle).

It's a wonderful circuit, and once you've been you'll never waste your money on an airfield or Silverstone again. It's an awesome challenge, but (as mentioned above) give it the respect it deserves.

Any other track will seem boring in comparison wink

I might look into doing this one.

I'm doing this one in my new Exige.

Can't wait, it's easily my fave circuit, you'll really enjoy it. Easytrack events seem good too.

I'm at Cadwell on the 18th June on the novice day. I'm also kindly (madly!) letting a couple of friends have a few laps. So three newbies, none of us having done a track day before. What could possibly go wrong? smile
I am having some tuition though.

Lurvely, I'll be happy to jump in if you want for a lap or two (if it's dry laugh ).

Couple of laps we can often do for first-timers to a circuit FOC but a proper session does cost. You'd have to talk to Lisa at signing on about pricing as they don't let me anywhere near the money silly

Steve,

Perfect timing to see if you've responded! I haven't been to Cadwell before, but done quite a few TD's. Nevertheless I think some tuition to learn the foibles would be ideal!

As long as you're not the kind of instructor to suggest riding wet kerbs up Eau Rouge, I'll be happysmile

Shall I arrange with you or with Easytrack?

Just have a word with Easytrack when you arrive on the day and they will be able to sort it, I'll keep you off the nastier kerbs biggrin

Allow me to re-phrase. It's a hell of a long way from any main road for us southerners coming up from deepest Sussexshiresmile

I live in a similar palce, with no main roads, its nice, until you want to get somewhere fast!

Very true. Everywhere is an hour away at least, no motorways and not a lot of dual carriageway. Great for driving fun as there's not much traffic but a pain if you want to go anywhere. Luckily I'm a bit of a stay-at-home.

Cracking day at Cadwell, great circuit and very technical.

Anyone get any footage/pictures?

Will post some footage up later this week.
