Are these tyres safe for road/track use?

Just wondering if PH gurus can take a look at these pics and see if the tyre is usable?

Damage is in the inner wall of the tyre, occurred while removing alloys









It will be used as a track/road tyre on my GT-R

What do you guys reckon?

I wouldn't use them on track or road, as they've now become compromised.

It's you're life your risking, and you can do what you want, but think of the risk to other road/track users that might become part of your accident.

you can see the cord, its damaged, I wouldnt use them

Just been there with some tyres on mine although damage was when tyres were going on. First I knew was when it lost air c. 200miles later. Luckily was safe as realised something not right very early. Got others checked and a front also compremised. Fortunately garage were very nice and replaced both.

I would definately say bin, not safe.

It's hard to see from the pics but if it's just the inner edge that sits flush against the inner edge of the wheel rim I would still use them on track.

They look wrecked. What size are the tyres?

I'll give you £40 for the set
