Woodbridge 9th July ?
Discussion
After buying a Toldeo 1.8T (180bhp) in March, I have finally got around to booking a trackday. I've done a search and a bit of reading up and as a result I've got the helmet, breakdown cover, replaced 2 tyres (this morning having found a bulge in one of my track wheel tyres and another illegal), put together a basic toolkit, got my diagnostics software working and changed the oil. Brakes all checked, fluids all tip top and everything seems in order so what next ? What have I missed ?
I read that you need to tape up lights - is this true ?
(I also have a mate coming in his car as the support vehicle!! He will have a set of road wheels, trolley jack, axle stands, a bag of cable ties, oil, more tools, a bottle of Tango and some crisps.)
Any advice greatfully received!!

I think I'll be going to this one too, been waiting to see what the weather will be doing. I'll be in the white MR2 if I'm there.
I tape the foglights up on mine as they're hanging low and I don't want to risk clouting a cone and spreading glass everywhere.
Bring a pump and a tyre gauge as you may find you need to let some air out after they get up to temperature. Also check your wheelnuts are torqued up to the right amount.
I've only done it once before but I had some instruction sessions and I found them a huge help, especially with telling you reference points for braking and turning. The Javelin guys are really well organised and it's a great track for novices.

Hey Andy, was a good day out! Send me an email (spam hidden) and I'll send you a few pics I took.
