Castle Combe Action Day 10/9/11 - spare track time £30

Hullo

Due to not getting popular take-up of track time on a dedicated track session at this action day I am offering it to those on here. £30 gets you entry to this track session AND an entry ticket into the show (£10 cost usually) So this is track time for £20 really.

Session is booked for circa 11.30am at the moment, but I shall confirm this nearer the time.

Anyone interested, please send me an email. Thanks. All I need is name/address/payment method (paypal preferred) and this shall include me posting out the track slips & ticket to you well before the event.

This worked well the last time on PH so I hope the last 8 slots or so get snapped up quick.

I forgot to mention, the track will be full of Skodas, a few probably doing a track session for the first time.

Is a helmet required, and if so are they provided? If not do you know if they are available to rent?

Helmet is required like normal trackday, and arms/legs must be covered. Helmets can be hired there. Memory serves me right its about £10 an hour. Depending on numbers, I may not be taking part myself, so can bring my XL helmet for someone to use.

Thanks. And I forgot to ask, how long is the track session?

Meant to be 15 minutes, but more often than not its more like 12 to 13 of actual driving to factor in warm down lap, getting previous session in, etc. I normally consider that enough as my brakes usually starting going off a bit then.

Anyone going tomorrow - I am likely to have a spare track space on the 11.45am session. Come find me on the BRISKODA stand on the Chippenham Road end of the display area (near toilets/escape road) - Will have black polo shirt on / TDIsport fleece / likely to be sheltering under a black & white Titleist golf brolley in the morning....
