Snetterton 8 September (Royal Wedding not guaranteed)

In April, a bunch of PHers (15ish?) took advantage of the additional bank holiday to meet at Snetterton for a track day. Some brought cars, some came long for the banter and passenger rides. Jolly good time had by all too!
With the end of the summer holidays (and the appropriate return to normality) on the horizon, I thought it might be nice for a bunch of us to get together again at Norfolk's finest three miles.
I can't offer you a free day off work this time unfortunately, but I'm sure it's worth sacrificing a day's leave and, if you haven't driven it yet, the new track really is very good fun.

The skyline owners club guys are as good as gold - they've done plenty of track days with us and I can safely say they're amongst the most courteous of drivers i've ever seen on track. They under no illusions as to what's expected of them with regards to backing off on the straights to let the lesser powered cars past - they also take my "turbo nutter barge" comments in good humour.And there was the issue of price; I don't use the bargain basement firms, but MSV always offer good VFM.
As for value for money - that's not just a function of price.

I was casting no aspersions, Jonny; I hope that was clear. My decision to take MSV over you this month was simply a function of the huge bhp difference of the cars booked in so far and the prevalence of them.
I spend very little time on track; the days are mainly for my son's benefit and although unfazed by the faster cars, he, understandably, prefers a mixed field.
This 'shout out' to other PHers was purely as I get to spend a long time standing about in the pits

I'm just trying to get to understand the psychology behind this...
We're promoting a day, in association with Pistonheads - the very forum you're touting for support on. We list all of the attendees on our website so you clearly see not only how many cars are attending, but the type of cars, too. To my knowledge MSV do not show a list of attendees anywhere - how do you know that the there's not a similar (less well disciplined) car club attending on the MSV day?
We currnently have 22 cars booked on our event - we'll be capping it at a maxium of 50 cars all day. MSV will be taking a maximum of ~75 cars (hence the respective pricing). Surely regardless of the horsepower difference of the cars, it's got to be quieter on-track for the BaT day than the MSV day?
If it's a decision based on pricing then I can live with that - wrong as I think that may be. However, if it's genuinely a conscious decision to boycott the official PH track day because of a dozen of the attendees - that seems mental to me.
