Thought this may be of interest to viewers here. The video shows an onboard from Donington GP Circuit with an Altitude graph overlayed. Most people won't be surprised at the altitude drop down the Craners but other more subtle altitude changes such as the dip at Redgate may surprise some.

Interesting stuff. Do you have any more videos with altitude data?

Seeing that there was a dip between Mcleans and Coppice surprised me. Thanks for posting.

I don't but the data overlays I do are 'post processed' so I add the overlay data display & images etc. later. Altitude data is captured by the DL1 so I can process any video with an altitude display.

Just working on Silverstone GP Data from yesterday so here is Silverstone.

I was going to post another altitude map and thought it might be more fun to post 3 'mystery' tracks and see if readers can 'guess the track'

They are 3 reasonably easy ones, I did find one really tough one but kept that for another day.

Here they are, 2 are UK tracks, one is a European track.

Ding, another point for Steve H, Cadwell it is, thought that was an easy one, Hall bends giving it away.

The thing that made me hesitate was that I was thinking the dip at the bottom of Park straight was almost as low as the bottom of Mansfield, turns out it's not! boxedin
