The half day track day at goodwood what does it encounter? i.e how long do you get out on the track ect?

Goodwood track days usually comprise (in my experience) of sessions of 15 minutes with 5 cars on track at a time. After 15 mins is up the chequered flag is shown and the 5 cars on track come into the pits and the next 5 go out for 15 mins. The big downside with this setup is that if there are a lot of people present, as there usually is at goodwood, then you hardly get out on the track.

I went to a July track day last year and got out on track 4 times in the whole day!!! In my opinion if it looks quite full perhaps consider somewhere else. Whereabouts are you based?

10 car days seem to flow more nicely, if your car will pass the 98Db limit for those days.

Also, in my experience, book onto the afternoon rather than morning as you tend to get some people drop out midway with mechanical issues.

If its raining, it gets really really quiet.

ah cool. my nearest track for me is either castle coombe or thurxton. But ive always fanceyed taking my car round goodwood.

Not surprised, those tyre walls look even closer when there's less grip.
