Videos from recent Donnington track day in 911 C2S

Hi there


Took a mates 997 C2S on a trackday at Donnington on the national circuit. Am very impressed with the C2S and as the day got on I certainly got faster too the point where I was keeping up and eventually passing one of the GT3's though I did notice it was on road tyres and not the usual corsas or cup tyres, whereas the other GT3 was quicker but it did have cups. Oh just to clarify I am not saying or even suggesting a C2S is quicker or even as quick as a GT3 as it is not. But they are not worlds apart and remember his C2S has aerokit and X51 which certainly help reduce the gap.

That day looked really empty...wish I had gone on it now! Regarding the GP circuit - it doesn't flow like the National circuit. The Foggy esses is good but the Melbourne hairpin is a pain (slow) and Goddard's (where you rejoin the main circuit) is frustrating as there doesn't seem to be a straight forward, fastest way through it.
