Trackday/short term insurance

Hi guys, I am after some advice. I am about to take my trusty e36 track day car off the road due to the cost iof modified insurance not being worth the year's premium for 5 or 6 track days and am tossing up possibilities for the future.

ie. Do I trailer the car there or do short term insurance for the days that I do the track days.

My question is does anyone know of a company that will cover a modified car to & from a track day & whilst on track?

Try Pace Ward, they offer track day and road cover and seem to be quite flexible in the policies that they can offer.

Was thinking of doing this with my trackcar but cant see how it will work with short term insurance as when the car is not insured it has to be declared sorn so in effect has no tax.
