Track day Tyres RS-R

Has anyone any experience of Federal 595 RS-R Tyres. I'm thinking of getting some Toyo R888's but these have come up as an alternative.
A friend of mine Rex on here has them one the back of his E36 M3, he rates them. Says with R888 on the front works really well and they have lasted very very well. Slightly less grip than the R888 so he doesn't get the understeer he used to get with Toyo all round so it has helped balance the car up.Ive used 888's for years and found them excellent on a number of cars for track. We recently put a set of RS-R's on a 300bhp Fiat Coupe and Im afraid they dont perform anywhere near as well as the 888's. Certainly wouldnt have them again.... However, they are not awful! They are poor from cold (as many tyres are) but dont have the grip level of a 888.
A good budget alternative to the more expensive AO48's, 888's etc, they are more a sticky'ish road tyre rather than control tyre
