Track Day as a present/gift?
Discussion
Hi all,
What is the best track day to give as a present, which includes driving the provided track car?
Spend c. £200, and spend as much time on the track as possible!!
I have seen these, but not sure if any good?
£200 - 2 hours

£180 - 3-4 hours

£200 - 3 hours

Happy to look elsewhere too, and other events...
Many thanks!!

"3 laps in each of the following..." - that just about sums it up for me. 3-4 hours to do 12 laps? Sorry but IMHO hardly worth going.http://www.trackdays.co.uk/driving_experience/grea...
Start by looking at the actual supplier of the events, trackdays.co.uk is just a broker.
For Ferrari/Lambo etc try Everyman or The Racing School, if you'd like a slightly less mass-produced feel to the event (and the best track in the country) then try Oulton Park in BMW M3s and single seaters. Something in your price range at all these places.
You won't get loads of track time at any of these days so don't expect to spend the 2-4 hours in car but you'll get a taste of the cars and the tracks. Regular trackdayers are used to something different but if your brother hasn't been on track before or in these cars I'd say 90% of people like him come away pretty impressed.

I'm open to suggestions?
Want to get my bro something car related for c. £200?
Where are you in the country? Silverstone offer a big range of these things and if you go for the "Experience" instead of the "Thrill" I think they're better value.Want to get my bro something car related for c. £200?

PalmerSport do a fabulous, all-day, multi-car experience but its probably a wee bit above your price range:

Palmersport half day was £480! I know they are quality, my co has done those in the past (not me).
I have decided to order the "Adrenaline Voucher" at £185, which has the option of a number of experiences from Oulton Park, inc the "Porsche Master" one detailed above of the 18 laps.
THANKS GUYS!!!!!! I knew asking on here would be very worthwhile, better than the broker route I was initially thinking of. (proved my wife wrong in the process too lol)
Merry Xmas!
