Scary stuff when that twitch starts.

I was in the same position as the car behind when a Fiat Coupe lost its rear wheel at Donington. I couldn't go round because a cosworth was overtaking at the same point. I just closed my eyes and waited! Luckily no impact!

I looked like the White Skoda shopper forced the 205 and MX5 into an errorsmile

I think the Skoda was looking for extra Clubard points.

That's a good example of why TDOs insist that there should be no overtaking in the braking zone.

Skoda is pretty quick in a straight line!

Good driving!

I suppose that's what you'll get for braking and turning halfway through a corner.

Looks like he simply went off onto the grass/gravel and didn't even make contact with the barrier/tyre wall.

So he didn't really 'crash' did he?

Looked like you were having fun there. Everyone knows MX5's are useful on track but I bet that Skoda surprised a few people.

Was going to say you were too close to the pug until I realised he'd overtaken you in a braking zone(!)Very bad car positioning if he's pushing that much...

Feels un natural but in a situation like that he would have been better off not trying to save it.

Sometimes it's knowing when to counter steer or just hit the brakes and keep everything straight....

Hope there wasn't to much damage.

I liked your tactic of spraying me with water from your windscreen wipers everytime I got too close, I must remember that trick for next years racing.

I did feel some slight mirth and amusement when I saw the Skoda. It must have took a wrong turn whilst on the way to Tesco and ended up on the track!

was this on the 28th? Was a fun day, although I didn't do much driving.
