Insurance and NCB
Discussion
Hi All,
Just had my renewal through and I have got unlimited track day cover for 20 quid extra
All I need to do is pay 6 pounds before each day and tell them the date and details...
Anyway, if I had a whack on track and needed to claim, would this 1) effect my NCB (I guess this is entirely down to the company, but are there any rules set out regarding this) 2) more importantly, would it show up as an accident when you renewed (I.e something you needed to declare)?
Thoughs?
Thanks...

The only people who will know the correct answer are your insurance company.
I'd assume that it'd affect both your NCB and your accident history - unless your T&Cs specifically state otherwise.
If the 'track day' policy is sold as an add-on to the main policy then it might not need to be declared - such as the case with (most) windscreen claims.
