Experience Track Day - ADVICE NEEDED !!

Hello!
I am really overwhelmed by the sheer volume of "experience track days" available to buy as a gift for someone.
Basically, I am looking for a day for my partner where he is able to drive (ideally) the R8, Murcielago and DB9. I am not fussed on where in the country the track is (although the closer the better - we are based in Dorset). I am willing to pay up to £500, but not willing to part with my money for him to be restricted to 70mph driving round a boring track!
Does anyone have any advice? I really don't know which company to go with...!!

Prestwold is the base for Everyman and is a decent layout.
Worth knowing that the V8 Vantage is a better thing to drive than the DB9 and the Gallardo is better than the Murci (IMO obviously).
ETA, we used to get customers up to about 160 at Brunt, not sure who still runs there, maybe Sixth Gear??

Thruxton motorsport centre simply the best in my opinion proper race track no micky mouse airfields or made up tracks and some quality cars including the lastest lambo aventador check out www.thruxtonracing.co.uk

I did a day at Thruxton and had a great time. (Also on certain days you can get a ride along with Tiff Needell if that floats your boat.)I just did the Cayman Thrill (never done a track day before so wanted to start with something VERY simple) and had a great time with my instructor.

Can vouch for that - there was no rev limit and plenty of encouragement to go faster! (Plus some good instruction on cornering technique.)TBH I was a bit nervous as have never driven anything more powerful than my own relatively shabby cars. The folks at Thruxton made me feel perfectly safe (if not entirely relaxed) and let me have a really good time.

My mate did the Cayman thrill there last year, he was instructed to shift up before 5K rpms. He still enjoyed it but I can't help but think it would be a lot better if you could really rev the cars...
Hmmm, wonder if it's luck of the draw with instructors then.TBH I wasn't paying a huge amount of attention to exactly where I was shifting, but I doubt it was less than 5k.
