Aside from 666g who I see in the "who's on what trackday" Wiki, anyone else going to Donny tomorrow?

I have not booked on this as yet, but me and a couple of Friends are going... We may just turn up over Lunchtime and try and get on in the afternoon.. We’ve done that before.

I called them earlier this morning, there seems to be plenty of spaces.

yes got same idea going up at diner ,theres usually someone blown engine or smashed it up,or got some other reason for retirement from day, so getting on for afternoon never really a problem ,taking this.

Had a great afternoon at Donington. I’m certainly not one for ‘coursing’, but it was fun to chase a Rabbit round the circuit for a good few Laps (not the fluffy bunnys, but E36GUY in a rather quick BMW) it certainly helped me “sort out” a couple of corners watching your lines!

Trackracer, I assumed you had a minor issue towards the end of the day?

Sorry I did not get speak to both you guys, but I had a precession of people wanting a few laps round the circuit....Hopefully next time!

a good day-great weather
don't know about rabbits but noticed pheasant on downhill section of melbourne loop and on the next lap behind an integra that avoided hitting it (so did I) and after hairpin he braked and i initially assumed to allow me to pass until I saw the pheasant continuing its slow progress across the track we both missed it) . Last time I saw a pheasant on a trackday the head was in a porsche front light fitting with the body nowhere to be scene...

What were you in?

Had an amazing day. Second time at Donny and I really felt like I started to nail the lines and I was an awful lot faster than the first visit. Car was faultless all day as usual and I am looking forward to this coming weekend when the full strip out is happening. Out with all the carpets, sound deadening, door cards, air-con system and the fitting of AP Racing brakes. Look out Donny next time!

Thought in general the driving standard was quite good in terms of slower cars being quick to move across for the faster ones. A few red flags is always a nuisance but they were pretty quickly dealt with.

Epic Lurking by the way Andy!

I was in a grey 911. You were kind enough to pull over to let me pass down the straight after coppice on one occasion, but thankfully the red flag came out, so I slipped back behind. I was actually quite grateful ... I think I may have tried too hard if I had you in my rear view mirror, I was more than happy following you..

Certainly great value for money for a fantastic day (or in my case afternoon). There’s a reasonable chance I will be attending the one on the 11th March. I believe there will be quite a few fellow pistonheads there too.
