Looks like it will be raining in the morning frown
Should clear out in the afternoon though

Are you going there for the 8.30am briefing?
I'm considering going a bit later now, we have until 5pm anyway.

I don't think the briefing is optional.

I understand that if you miss the briefing at 8.30am, they still let you join in later (after they give you a 1-on-1 briefig, I assume)

Had a great day with a drying track biggrin One spin in the damp but the EP3 went all day long just fine. Was nice to meet a few people also

was there all day in the T reg MX5, went to introduce myself to Guido after lunch (and blag a passenger lap smile. ) but you'd gone.

Also had a good laugh chasing diddly around smile

was out on track all day and the old lump only started getting hot towards the end (helped by having the air con on full blast) - hopefully nothing an oil change won't help smile

I was there. Silver Clio 172 with yellow mirrors.

The morning was... interesting smile. Had some fun coaxing some lift off oversteer out of the car, but also manage to get it massively wrong on the chicane on the back straight and spin off.

When it dried in the afternoon I had great fun pushing my suspension tweaks, and ultimately destroying my brakes! Drove home with metal on metal on one front!

Good day as always though! Nice variety of kit about.

Was another great track day at Bedford. A little damp in the morning was good experience really, nice and dry for the afternoon. Was in the Golf GTi MK5 (the only VW there I think!). Lots of good (sensible) driving going on smile

Was a good day, morning was a good laugh, put the slicks on during lunch - plenty of grip thereafter.

Was a great day (morning) indeed, nice to meet a few of you too.
My first time out on a track so was a bit nervous and not quite sure what to expect. A few laps with the instructor helped understand the braking points and "racing" line, and build my confidence up.
By the end of the morning session I was putting in some serious effort...not sure if anyone saw me get into the pits, my brakes were smoking pretty heavily!
Very pleased with the whole experience.
BUT
I felt like I was getting too confident and I didn't want it to turn into cockiness
AND after the "smoking brakes" incident I'd lost any stopping power for a good 30mins, and didn't want that to happen again just before one of the hairpin turns

So I decided that the sensible thing was to bail out before I ended up with a red face and a mangled car!
Would have been very happy to give a passenger drive though...next time!

What car were you driving? There was quite a few people with smoking brakes.

Calming down before getting to cocky is a good idea. I have twice got too confident at Bedford, both times resulted in a spin smile

Glad you enjoyed it.
