Are experience days any good?

I'm thinking of getting a driving experience gift for my boyfriend, but I'm not sure what the quality is like. The websites I'm looking at don't go in to very much detail, and only seem to offer 1/2 hour or so behind the wheel. Are they worthwhile for a real enthusiast? Can anyone recommend a particular website?
