I'll be there in one of the Focus RSs - first trackday so will also be staying out of the way as much as possible!

Weather forecast does indeed look good, really looking forward to it:

Will be my first with this TDO - I know they are a lower cost provider so prepared for higher numbers for an OP day than Goldtrack or BaT etc - anyone done one with them before - still struggling to get info on the garage I booked - no answer to emal or messages left by phone

I would be minded to pop into an mSV track - I know they are happy to noise test to enable you to know how you rate using prof kit the way they use it ( distance away/ angle etc) - I seem to recall Donington uses the meters on track rather than having separate static tests

Donington has 2 sound meters on track.

One under the bridge on the pit straight and one under starkys bridge just after old hairpin.

Yes, donington has drive by noise meters. If you do book a day at one with statics they are happy to tell you how load your car is. My vr6 registered 90dbs when I took it rockingham last.

Ye I know from the past donno just use drive by ones otherwise I would have tried to get one done, unless they let me go for a drive round to test it biggrin the 325i I used last time was a silent whisper in comparison!

Jonytvr. Maybe if you ask one of the marshals they may have a meter if you are worried. Only problem is if you are too load they will know where to look when the meters start pinging.
