Is anyone else going on this?

Is 80+ cars too many? That's how many are booked and it' open pit lane.

Are you booked already? I looked at it but chose the BaT day on 8th June instead. Higher price but lower numbers. Plus I'm not convinced on the GP layout but it does help a lot with overtaking at Anglesey.

See you there then Nick. Maybe it won't be too bad, only equivalent to 28 cars running in sessions...

I take it that you will be in an Elise?

28 cars, 3.3km circuit = 1 car every 120m.

Just back from Anglesey. Great circuit. Despite initial reservations the number of cars was never a problem. No traffic issues. No queuing. Good organisation by Javelin and a good standard of driving.

I was in the Silver Swift, had an awesome time, was my first time at this circuit and I would definitely like to return! Was impressed with the Swift too, standard brakes (original discs from 2007 and pads at least a year old) and they stood up really well to the abuse! Just was a pain having to pull over for the faster cars.

Good vid. It was this M3:

Know what you mean regarding the rubber marks! Loads of the stuff all over the track.

Ah yes I think I was talking to a friend of yours with the Galant/Legnum VR4 (well he was parked by you anyway!)

The M3's looked to be going very well!

Saw your Porker in the paddock area, looked very nice.

It was a great day out. We were there in a couple of Caterhams, a Tuscan and a 911. I captured some footage so will post up on this thread later.

I have to a admit though, it was a close call as to which was better; the track day or the blat up through mid / north Wales the day before!

My first time at Anglesey as well - maybe the track wasn't as busy as it could have been as the weather meant the tyres were getting hot very quickly on the lardy saloons Ross? wink
