I'm booked in with my old Saab.

Website says it's fully booked, so should be a good turn-out.

Yep, that was me. Only managed one session at the beginning before the car started making nasty noises. Thought it was the gearbox going again, turned out to be the exhaust banging on the underside......Bit of a waste of money in the end, but cheaper than a gearbox rebuild.

What were you in?

Yeah was a fantastic eve!

Was great to see all te cars theresmile

Brilliant seeing such a mix...

Didn't know my car was fixed until 1pm, picked it up from garage at 3, had awful noise come from the trnsmission on way but only happened once then didn't return thank god.. no idea what it was!

Was really happy that it wasn't until 7.30 I had problems with cutting out at the top of 4th gear but still got home ok and think it's an ignition fault.. hope so anyway!

Red fiesta was fantastic! So quicksmile

Anyone get any vids?

Nice! Sounded good. Saw a similar car about 4ish years ago at the first Retro Trackday - guessing that was you too?

Oh, and the grey Skyline...you weren't hanging about were you! Very quick.

Thanks mate - yeah so great to get back to brands -love it!smile
Car just started cutting out towards the end.. hopefully something simple so figers crossed an easy fix.. will explain to garage 'just test at full throttle 4th gear at about 120 and you'll see' lol!

Royster - thanks but it was the car that was quick not the driver! Really wanted to get some tuition but didn't want to risk it breaking down with the instructor in the car!

Any pics anyone?? Some of those cars were stunning!! smile

Just had a look and I've got one of you down the pit straight, being chased by the green XJS V12 and one of MK2 24v in the pit straight too. Taken with my iPhone from a distance, so not great, though.

Will do. Have to wait until I'm at home as no lead here at work.

They're really not great, though.
