Looking at booking a track day with Foccused events soon and wondered what peoples experience has been with them ?

I have used Javelin, MSV and Easy track in the past and they have all been good, how does the number of cars booked for the event compare ?

Used Focused a few times and although I can't tell you exactly how many cars were out on track, there certainly weren't any problems either with traffic, or the day as a whole.

At Oulton park earlier in the year they (focused events) were oversuscribed (on purpose?)so they were holding cars in the paddock until people left the session. It might have been a 1 off!.......

I was at Donnington with them on Friday. I feared the worst given how cheap the day was (£140 OPL) but it was a very well run day with no real traffic issues. The longest i had to wait to get out of the pitlane was about 2 minutes

I've done around 6 or 7 days with them.. They offer very good value for money..

All have gone smoothly.. Tim Harvey is available to give instruction on some days...

We were there in some MX5's & as always we had an excellent time.
£140 for Donington GP on a sunny August & Fri, what could be better.
The haters are usually the other TDO's whistle

I was there on Friday 10/08/12 in a black fiesta, first time at Donington although have done them with Focused events before, i thought the people from Focused ran it well with booking on and driver induction casual but firm.

mind you i think the general running of the day is more down to the race track operators, eg marshals etc than the organisers

I swore I would never do another day with them when I did bike days, because if Kevin Healey was there, it was always a bit stressy. To be fair to the guy (and I don't know why I should be), bike days are pretty much open season, with overtaking everywhere, lots of crashes and massive speed differences in the corners, so perhaps we did need a talking to every now and again!!
Anyway, a mate persuaded me to do the Donington day on 10 August and it was very well run, OPL, hardly any waiting, only a couple of red flags and the guy running the day was good humoured and keen to make sure the day ran well. Would I do another car day with them - absolutely.

Done Donnington with them three times. They do book a lot of cars on but as long as everyone manages to stay out of the gravel and they don't have to close the track too often you very seldom have to queue. Helpful guys, and it is outstanding value compared with some other TDOs.
