First time with my GoPro
Discussion
Below is a video I recorded of myself driving Snetterton on a taster session. Car is a mk2 rev2 MR2 NA.

What do you guys think of the camera position? Would you prefer more track less interior?
Unfortunately with the low sun some views are poor, when the sun is behind the interior is really nicely lit up and clear.

Works for me as well, gives a good feeling of being in the car with you.
On my last trackday I played with a few different positions and then did a mash up of the different sessions plus some stills and footage I shot from the pits. This was mostly gopro and some Flip HD thrown in. Excuse the soundtrack but it's better than the wind noise due the camera being mounted in a drop top.

Oh yes I remember seeing your suction mount on the bootlid.
Was a really good day. Weather has been pants since!
Front view is Gopro 2 1020p 127deg fov
Rear is Gopro 1 same setting.
One of my later vids has rear using gopro 2 set on narrow 1080p with Gopro 1 127 deg fov 1080p

I really like that, makes it much more involving to watch. Think the go pro will be too big to go on the lid as it mounts at the bottom. Might be possible to mount it sideways but the footage would suffer...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OXJlnsx4HY&sns...
Here's one I shot at Abingdon last Friday. It's a GoPro HD Hero2 running 720p 60fps in wide mode. It's mounted on top of the standard Westfield roll bar using a GoPro mount.

You'll also see my HD Hero in the windscreen. I had hoped to leave that running most of the day taking a photo every 60 seconds. Just a bit of an experiment. One I totally ballsed up I might add. I blame the user interface...! I'm intending to get a wifi back pack and link it to the wifi remote I have for the Hero2 and use it as a rear facing camera. Not sure I have the computing power or software to insert it 'rear view mirror' style though

How did you get the exposure of the track so good? When I've tried shooting with the camera behind the seats (looking forward) it tends to show the cabin well, but over expose the outside world. What metering setting did you use?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqN3pztL7HQ

I like the shot from above the offside rear wing.
