Hi all,

Got my first trackday next week and we have been stocking up on spares for the last month. We have 4 spare alloys all with some part worn tyres to fit, trolley jack, wheel brace, oil, rags, GoPro - anything else we need?

Apart from a modicum of driving ability of course.

Cheers Trev - hadn't thought of that! I'd best get a compressor pump too...

Got the car booked in for a service on Tuesday so hoping brake pads and discs should be sorted then if needed. Oil being changed and fluid checked all round.

As an after thought, since you're having a service done it would be a good idea to have the brake fluid changed.

Errrr..idea..driving licence, helmet, fire extinguisher, snacks and water for the driver, and do either book some instruction, or blag a ride round with the most talented driver present. You will learn a lot and drive much better.

Most track days ban timing, as it is not about who can go fastest

Yes you are right, I stand corrected, I just checked the terms nd conditions and it seems going fast is absolutely not encouraged.

How are you attaching your GoPro? They won't allow suction mount so you'll need a rollbar mount or something like that

I found jubilee clips of all sizes handy in case a hose clip or driveshaft gaiter clip goes.
