Track car only suggestions
Discussion
I'm debating buying another car purely for trackdays so doesn't need to be road legal. I've had a high power Caterham for 7 years abd sold last year. Now thinking I should buy some form of kit car but focus on something with very good handling and braking rather than the 280bhp power I had in the Caterham.
So the question is what should I consider to meet the follow:
- track only use
- sub £10K
- emphasis on handling and braking
- kit car is fine but don't want a Sevenesque car, been there done that
- would like something that comes with all the kit, high spec brakes, suspension, roll cage, extinguisher etc.
- something quite slippery to make the most of the modest power (so again not a 7 style aerodynamics of a brick car)
Only thing I've come up with so far is a Fisher Fury.
Any suggestions?

Looks like a bundle of fun to me!
I bought an ex RGB fury for similar money.

Hey Jeremy yeah must be 9 years or so! See you still have the SLR, part of me wishes I hadn't sold mine hence the interest in another track car.
Funny I was searching youtube for any videos of the Fury's at the trackday we did in Folembray in 2001 I think? Remember being impressed with the simplicity, speed and sound of them (Fireblades I think) back then so think I'm leaning towards one of these. Problem is after a 280bhp R400 I'm going to need something pretty quick.....a racespec Fury with a Duratec would be ideal I think
