Just a little warning (not sure if standards have improved?)

But i has some track time at trax a few years ago, and it was absolutely carnage!

I watched it a few years back and despite winning a free 20 min slot, I sold it to a mate for drinks money. As above, carnage.

Any day that lets you buy 'slots' is packed full of utter spaktard cretins, Castle Combe action days or Trax etc, I wouldnt go on one if you paid me.

I sold my track time at Trax, I wasn't prepared for the carnage. I like my car too much ;o))

Went today. Wasn't too bad although I got passed on the right and through a corner and one of the experience day car very nearly hit the pace car. Plenty of space on the track though. Sadly a pug 306 driver forgot how to drive and red flagged our session after 11mins. But yes you wouldn't take a car you cared about there.

Had 3 advanced sessions without any problems. Maybe I was the one leaving a trail of carnage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnDjFI_m5i8&fea...

What I didn't get was why they let everyone out in 1 go and not staggered them. Luckily our car (the Matt yellow rs) was being driven by James Nash so he was let out in 'clear traffic' and didn't have any problems. The blue subaru looked pretty sorry for itself though.

From the stories I have heard from today I am glad I didn't bother with the show & my decision that show trackday sessions aren't worth the bother.

Cars spinning on sighting laps, the 'Professionals' driving like tts and nearly crashing into normal punters, Overtaking on both sides and under brakes and through corners. Just people with 15 minutes to prove themselves.

Loved yours matey, I had a quick look when the three MGs were altogether. Think you were discussing the wing to the others. One of my favourite cars there. Lovely to see older machinery showing up newer stuff.

Your car was was FAST! Standard of driving was pretty good (excuse my sideways antics @ 1 min) on the whole. Great day out

I certainly had a good day. My only criticism is that the Briefing was very poor, Presuming briefings were arranged by Silverstone Circuit they need to get their act together.
