I'll be there in my Black Westfield. Come and say hello if you want. I'll also be there with my friend in his 182 Cup.

Were you at Bedford in July with Javelin?

I have a place booked on this event at Oulton on Friday and now cannot attend.

If anyone wants to take the booking its going cheap - send me a PM.

Apparently Focused Events don't offer refunds or credits to other events, - which is not very friendly or helpful now is it? shoot

I saw that - agreed doesn't really encourage booking with them - I'm doing this as a mate was only able to do this date - of course he then cancelled !!

Really quiet day - suspect Focused lost money - 30 cars - for the punter it was excellent - my first time back at Oulton since the mid 90s and the undulations really notable - day started wet and track didn't really dry not least as we had a massive downpour around lunchtime but fun non the less - had my wets there and had them on until the last session - met some great folk some PHs - all in all a great day - certainly learnt to ease off over those crests in the wet ! Nearly put it in the Armco !!

I had a great day. Oulton really is a superb circuit.

I almost had a bump coming out of Druids in the wet but no damage done.

The Orange RX7 was going really well all day. What engine does the car have - it sounded like a v8?

Nice to meet you Flying Trotter. Love the car.

Great day all round and really good when the track dried out. I have been critical of Focussed Events in the past, but having done Donnington and now Oulton with them, both days were very well run and there wasn't a red flag all day at Oulton despite the pre lunch downpour of biblical proportions.

Agree with all of that - do mainly goldtrack and have approached these days a little cautiously but they have been fine

Was good to meet you guys

I had a great day. Some very fast cars, 911 GT3, Atom and some of the Catherham/Westfield's. Its was so slippy when wet I can't believe we didn't have any red flags. I was in the Orange RX7, for the chap that asked it has a 6.2Ltr V8 in it from a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. It was my first time at Oulton and I can't wait to get back.

You seemed to be having fun - saw that you were on slicks and struggling to keep it pointing in the right direction - followed you early on in my Atom - with that big V8 now we know why !!

I am beginning to understand why I couldn't stay with you in my blue clio 182 on well used 888s. I think a 4.2litre handicap and no slicks was a bit too much, but it must have been a real handful early on!!

Bladez - I thought your car sounded interesting! It looked immaculate. That's one hell of a toy. Flying Trotter's instructor was really impressed with the "11's" you were leaving not the track.

Looking forward to the next one now - roll on the 26th!

Any video footage gratefully received!

Will post some footage when I can - I was on track when they closed the track for an early lunch - that rain was something else - dry on one side of the track and hammering down on the other !!
