I have an S3 on order. It can apparently record 1080 and having seen how good iPhone footage is, I was wondering if anyone uses the Galaxy S3 and if so what type of mount they use. I have a roll bar but need a way to mount it. I do have a mannfrotto camera mount BUT need a way of mounting the phone... Or a different mount
Any ideas?

try eBay and look for s3 mounts for pedal bikes.
it is a clamp type affair that may fit the bars of your cage.

the one i have could mount something almost twice as wide as bike handle bars.
you may need to use additional daubers for ultimate

Hi thanks for the reply. I had a look on ebay and found the mounts you refer to.

However, they appear (to me) to hold the phone the wrong way round for my purposes i.e. they are designed to fit onto the handle bar with the screen facing toward the rider and in my scenario (presuming the lens o fthe camera is on the rear of the phone) I need the phone mounted on the roll bar with the rear of the camera facing fowards which is the opposite way round to the cycle mounts.

Oh, okay. Are both cameras the same spec?

does not seem so. 7m vs. 1.9m pixels.

OK, so looking at mine if you drill a hole in the plastic where the lense will be should work.
i have mine mount screwed in my car which is a clamp type affair so takes any device
