Hey folks.

Looking to buy my old man a joint birthday/Christmas present and would like it to be circuit based (not drifting etc etc).

I've been looking at the usual suspects (Palmersport and the Caterham circuit experience) but can anyone else recommend any other days out there? Anything else to consider? I'd prefer that it wasn't using his own car if possible.

Budget would be around £500-700.

Cheers.

Yep, at the top end of your budget but there isn't much else in it's class.

DN7 - your budget pays for the track day, he'd have to stump up the additional costs (mainly fuel and accommodation)

That would be using his own car though...

Cheers for the replies.
He's in Bedfordshire so Goodwood isn't horrendously far.

Madness.

Palmersport day is leagues above the rest. Goodwood is pants compared, get a grip.

Don't worry I'm aware how good Palmersport is meant to be.
Caterham hire via BaT is worth a look then...

To get best out of either day I would suggest that he would benefit froma day of instruction so as at Bedford you get someone instructing in the car most of the time I would go for that option.

Go to Spa mate,

doesn't really matter who with, circuit days are pretty good.

Best track in the world, great atmosphere, road trip down there...fantastic.

If there is a problem for Spa...it is only that everywhere else seems cr@p after you've done it. wink
