Anyone tried a Carband for towing?

Saw these at the Classic Car Show at the NEC yesterday. They reckon that putting a standard cover on then this will allow you to tow with a cover thus solving a problem I've had going to track days and getting caught out by (at Cadwell very heavy back in April) rain. Took me a week to dry the car out last time.

But, I'm wary that generally towing with a cover is a none starter. Has anyone tried one please?

Unless the paint is scrupulously clean (and the cover too) that's going to knacker it, surely?

Can't see how if a cover is on it already. Question is, is it going to keep the cover on whilst towing?
