Rubbish wet day in the end, dissapointed. More like ice skating than driving, got black flagged and a slapped wrist early on for drifting, weak :/

paulm3 the Z3M went well though, I was behind you for a bit, my efforts to keep up were in vain though, you just walked away from me.

Hi clarkey, day was ok, very slippery though... I got vids of laps with a couple following you round, I also got asked to tone down the sideways but you really couldn't help it!!

How did u get in the hairpin gravel? Hope cars ok too!

Ha yes that was interesting. Car got a bit loose on entry to the left hander of craners. Still fresh in my mind the warning of being sent packing if I was seen drifting again, I shut off the throttle. Big fishtail, put the back tyres on the grass to the left and that was that, passenger ride broadside over the grass. I honestly think I could have avoided it if I'd just powered out of the initial skid. There we go though, sorry for red flagging the session :/

Hindsight hey! It's ok.. They red flagged it when a puma/Astra (can't remember) was in gravel but then started to drive out and u followed me into pits and then got told the session was over nearly anyway... Bit frustrating.

Vid: bit of a moment at 10:50...

i was there also in the novice group in a mx5. My first track day!

Caused the first red flag in the second session at the old hairpin when the rear just swapped ends with me, and then had a massive spin coming through the craners in the last session, must have put a tyre on the damp part of the track as it was under full throttle.

Still got a lot to learn about car control though on a track!

I followed you out onto track .. If your the yellow mx5 with the huge rear view mirror??
It was very slippy, few dry lines appeared but not at craners, hairpin or coppice (the slippiest)

Gonna book 3rd feb, I like donnington circuit.., hope its dry!!
