I think my rear AD08 has got a slow puncture. I have just reinflated it, and will check it later.

I've had many tyres repaired for road use over the years, but I wasn't sure if this was best avoided on track? Any issues due to the greater stresses on the tyre or if it's a proper repair is there no issue?

Many thanks

So long as the repair is well away from the sidewall and done properly, I wouldn't be too concerned.

I use a patched (tread centre) Toyo semi slick tyre without problem so far..
I don't really recommend it but it is preferable to one that has been repaired using a plug.

This. I've done it - no problem.

however if its a slow puncture and you can't see a nail etc you'll probably find the tyre just needs to be re-seated - often its a bit of corrosion or paint around the rim which lets a bit of air through.

The only slight difference I have found is that on one tyre a few years ago I had a slow puncture, which turned out to be a nail.

However if you just happen to park on the nail it went down in well under an hour!

My advice would be get it checked, if it is a puncture rather than rim leaking, get it repaired by a reputable tyre outfit to BS???? and you will have no problem.
