Is anyone on the MSV day at Oulton Park on the 6th Feb? I'll be taking my E36 out for the first time. I did a trackday there in my Mk3 Polo a couple of years back but it really didn't have enough power laugh

I'll be there in the Focus ST, there's about 10-15 ST/RS's from the owners club attending. Should be a good day.

I'll be there in a chavved up focus, you'll know what I mean when you see it, the product of a mis-spent youth... whistle

Should be good fun though as it now gets used/abused as a cheap track toy.

Hopefully the rain forecasted for tuesday doesn't appear and the circuit is nice on the day!!

Well it's a little bit snowy where I am, hopefully it clears out before tomorrow. Does anyone know how bad it would have to be before they cancelled the day?

How bad is it down there? I'm only up in Preston and we've had some sleet/hail this morning but we rarely get the worst of it. Looking at the forecast for tomorrow it looks like it'll be a nice day....... as long as there isn't 6 inches of snow on the ground laugh

No idea on what it takes to cancel a day, depends how ruthless the company is I guess, whether they'd let us turn up and risk it to save themselves the cost of rebooking everyone. I don't think I've been on a trackday with MSV before, so not sure what they are like to deal with.

I'm in South Manchester and it was coming down pretty heavily last night. We've had some hail this morning and the snow has just started coming down quite thickly again. Fingers crossed it'll clear out this afternoon though.

They cancelled the one a couple of weeks back. That's how I'm doing this one.

I'm going to email them now.

I emailed them earlier and just got this response:

Hi Terry

Thank you for your email.

At the moment there is no plan to cancel the track day at Oulton Park due to the weather.

Due to this cancellations would not be permitted this close to the event as per the terms and conditions of the booking.

If anything changes I will send an email over to you as soon as we are aware.

Kind Regards

Stuart Garland

Any update on the weather at Oulton Park?

The car was covered in snow in Worcestershire this morning, but there was nothing left by lunchtime.

Wish I'd got a heater in my track car..... rolleyes Oh well, at least I've got a roof.

We had a bit more snow here early afternoon but it seems to have disappeared now. Apparently Oulton hasn't seen much snow all day so we should be fine.

See you all there bright and early tomorrow smile

Well the weather round here in Preston has been pretty wild today, some snow but none that has stuck. Now the wind has dropped and the skies cleared, I think it'll be a frosty morning!

Car is now serviced and packed full of crap that hopefully isn't required. See you there tomorrow, early but very unlikely to be bright!
