Has anyone got any experience of using Haldex controllers on track with VAG cars. My question is does this "solve" the VAG group handling issues or does it just make below average cars average?

Currently looking at daily drivers that I can use on the track. I'm currently looking at a range of BMW's but for various reasons none of these are hugely practical for day to day tasks and if these can make Audi S3's etc handle with some finesse, it will put a lot of cars back on the list.

Thanks

Never going to be as fun, even with an uprated haldex.

You can make an S3 pin sharp, Haldex controller isn't really worth it.
Biggest rear ARB possible, upgrade the front slightly, fresh bushes, coilovers, few adjustable components and proper alignment would be excellent.

I had a MK4 R32 19mm rear ARB on mine, that enhanced its B road blasting ability ten fold.

I'm not sure about pin sharp, but I get what you mean.

I did all that on my TT, plus KW coilovers.

It went around corners quickly and without any drama. I still think the BMWs he is considering is a more fun choice for a the odd trackday.
