Last outing was in a Honda s2000,
Got a E46 M3 now, can not wait to try it out at Silverstone, it's a bit pricey
Though, can not help but think palmersport instead.

I'll be there in my mate's R32 Skyline. Last time we drove at Silverstone it expired. The failure mode is as follows: underspeced fuel pump and/or poorly maintained fuel filter results in reduced fuel pressure/flow and subsequent detonation. Grim and apparently not uncommon.

Annoyingly there were several warnings: repeated spark plug failure on track days. But I left it to the Skyline experts, rather than suggest pinking as the cause, because my experience is very limited (to just two N/A cars). Wish I'd said something though.

To be honest I'm a bit more concerned about Spa & Ring over Easter, doesn't look great right now...

Excellent - good to have someone else freezing in an open car ;0). That forecast ain't great - we have a few guys coming in Atoms - it's going to be a day for plenty of layers

Live quite close to the circuit and it is raining quite hard here and has been for most of the day, forecast for tomorrow is much the same.
Will the day still go ahead ? Im not sure...

I've never seen a track day cancelled due to rain. Delays due to fog and frost sure, but not rain.

Sadly the day did end up being cancelled. Was very wet when we arrived but an hour or so later was like this

Respect goes out to the nutter/nutters that drove to/from the track in their Atoms!!!!

Roads/motorways were in terrible shape. No grit. Must have caught out the local council by surprise i guess.

We were lucky on the way down and were back in NW London for 12.
