Hi all. Was jsut looking at buying some track day tyres in the near future and stumbled upon D-MACK...

A bit of googling suggests they supply to the WRC and are designed in the UK (good), based in Carlisle (getting worse) but made in China (usually a bad thing!). But at around half the price of the usual track tyre subjects they certainly seem worth looking at...

Just wondering if anybody has used them and what your opinions are...

(Will post links when on a proper computer)

Seems Michelin are still supplying to the factory teams and DMACK to the privateers. Maybe it's a cost issue, or maybe they were the only 2 companies prepared to share the stage once Pirelli their their toys out of the pram?

Never heard of them myself, and have never seen/noticed any advertising for them on the WRC coverage.

Website is a st - every link seems to go back to the motorsport page!

Looks like they're only available in very limited tyre sizes too - i.e. to fit rally cars!

There was discussion of their ice tyres on Chris Harris's ice driving video on here the other week.

My plan is to try some on my Clio track/hillclimb car when my r888s need replacing.

They seem like a pretty genuine outfit, trying pretty hard to get into the rally market.

Nowt wrong with Carlisle y'cheaky bugger!

As stated there's a little bit about them on that Chris Harris snow video thing he did & they seem to be getting a good reputation in Motorsport circles.

Its a local firm so I'll try & use them if I can when the khumos wear out, the MD's wife is a customer of mine & from what I know of them they're really into what they do & I like enthusiastic folk

Lol Carlisle isn't that bad, beats Gillingham!

Anyhow, with regard to tyre sizes I will have to look up when I'm on my PC but Im sure they did my size, 225/45/17 and other common sizes... Could be wrong though!

225/45/17 is on the list here if this is the tyre you are thinking of.
