Me too....in the MR2 Turbo if I get it working....or the CLk55 if I don't. Hopefully the former, went through an entire set of pads last time on the AMG!

It's the GT Circuit Shimmy - it's with Easy Track, however I think I read in the small print, 'No CSLs allowed', sorry mate! :P

Put an M3 Cutters sticker in the window, turn up with a baseball cap on sideways and everyone will assume it's a rep! Job done.

Booking today. TVR if it is working by then or may brave the XKR-S. Strongly suspect it will fail noise - anyone know if those Iphone noise apps are even close to vaguely accurate so I can work out if I'm wasting my time?

Static is hard to fail at 101db, it's the drive by that can be tricky.

Edit: the point being that I'd be surprised if any of the apps are able to adequately measure 87.5DB at 20m.

Funny, I've typically had more problems with the static than the drive by, particularly at Bedford. My TVR fails without its extra pipe and the xkr-s is properly noisy. Testing the theory on the iphone app drive-by could be fun though!

Really? When I first got the exige I took it to Bedford, easily passed the static at 92db at 6k but failed the drive by at over 88. Had to put a new exhaust on, and not had a problem since, although I am a little concerned for this one as I've had the power increased over the winter. Will definitely be lifting at the noise meters in the morning!

From other threads, it looks like tdos find the drive by catching clients out more.

Edit: just looked at your garage. There was an Xkr-s on a day I did last November, identical to yours, and he didn't have any problems with noise. Don't know if the car has a switchable exhaust and he kept it quiet though.

I too am slightly concerned about he noise limits, I'm on a new motor and straight through system.

Where are the drive-by noise testers at Bedford, been there so many times, never bothered to check as my old motor + system was only 79db!

I too would love to take the Noble to this but I'm pretty sure the static will not be a problem but the drive by could be another issue :-((

Depends on the weather.

If sunny, I'll bring Westy and Ferrari. If Wet, Exige and Clio
