Ah ha yes I remember our little session, that was very good fun, I missed a gear just as you indicated and just couldn't get passed, however was good to do the following, so no issues there. You driven there before.

Ah that makes sense I knew you had plenty of power (more than me) so when you didn't go I thought you just thought I was going at a happy pace so ok following. :-)

Yeah local boy over in Cholsey, track is almost always different at Abingdon. Lot tighter and slower in general than last time, chicane on the opposite side of the straight I couldn't seem to master.

Pretty much do all the abingdon track days as am in abingdon, have to say it's really well organised. Don't usually track the 130 as have a westfield, but am just selling that at the moment, the chicane before the bank is great to make time up if you can hold your nerve through it and keep the power down. it was a really good day as there wasn't that many people on the track all the time, sometimes i have been there and it's rammed.

The chicane i missed a gear at i struggled with all day, coming in fast was difficult to get in to 2nd gear then sometimes was taking it in 3rd gear but not having enough power to come out the other side.

I should be there next month will say hello. What makes the days for me is people who are going more or less the same speed and chasing, making the most of the car etc. I always like the last 10 mins when it's empty and you can be a hooligan :-)

My buddy and I was there in our Imprezas. Fantastic day with some really great friendly people. 1st time either of us had been to Abingdon but wont be the last. Nice that it dried out after lunch.

Me and the Mrs were there in our MX5, first outing in the MX for Lez and she was a bit nervous early on! She booked a slot in with Hamish and came back a lot more confident. Enough to have a session out on her own when it dried up!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the day, a bit too over enthusiastic at one point, having a little spinnage spin
apologies to the Ginetta following me.
With you on the runway chicane, 3rd gear in was good but bogged down on the way out, 2nd gear in was too slow, apart from that all good!
nice to see a few familiar faces and some new ones and hope you all got home safely. Thanks to Lazza for the ride in his S/C'd MX, sounded and went like thunderclap
Great day topped off by a Meatloaf gig at the LG Arena in Birmingham, living the dream!!!

Thanks to the organisers at MSE, see you all at the next one

Yeah the chicane, I was having to get down to 2nd to have any power exiting it. Fun day smile left with a rather spongy brake pedal so now got to get my bigger brakes fitted before the next one.
