Anyone out there know of any track days on the May bank holiday? I usually attend the Jaguar day at Goodwood but they have put the price up this year to £205 for a sessioned day! Only one i have managed to find is Blyton Park for £119 open pit lane. Good value but a 4 hour drive there from Hayling!
Dont mind a two hour drive to somewhere for a reasonable day.

any help will be appreciated,

Darren

I thought that owing to noise regs that Goodwood is always sessioned and £205 doesn't sound bad to me. confused

Bedford on Saturday, dinner, drinks, sleep overnight somewhere in Bedfordshire, Snetterton on Sunday drive back home on Monday? At least that was my plan until my wife intervened...

Presumably that is the Jaguar Drivers' Club day? Is that usually just for classic Jags (which I love) or would I be welcome in an XKR-S? Quite tempted but wouldn't want to ruin it for the XK120s and E's with my loutish modern!

JDC event predominantly for Jags of all makes and ages. Don't be put off if you have a later model as all are welcome! I have had 2 of my XJR's on in the past and believe me, I have been flat out ans sideways!!! Just pay respect to the older models and all will be happy to see you fly past!
The main reason I'm reluctant to go this year, after the last 3 years, is the increase in cost and the fact that it Is sessioned. 6 groups of 10 on for 15 minutes means your getting 15 minutes every hour and a half or so. On an OPL I can merrily rag round for hourslick
The club does need to sell all spaces to recoup costs therefore some other cars may be in attendance if they can't sell spaces to Jag drivers. I'm also reluctant to track the Jags anymore since I have an MX5 now for this sort of "mis-behaviour"biglaugh
If any of you do go then enjoy yourselves, I will inevitably turn up at some stage of the day to spectate, dribble, and kick myself for not signing up if I can't find 'owt else!
