Driving from Suffolk tomorrow...
Me n my stepson are taking his red E30 (with an E36 M3 engine)
If any PH'rs are going... Give us a toot!
(We should be easy to spot... There will likely be an old guy screaming at a youngster to slow down!

we get home tomorrow... we will be like ships passing in the night!
We haven’t really had a good time to be fair... We have had an outstanding time!!
If I knew it was this good Id have been here years ago!
We did 9 laps in the E30... The track is tricky tricky tricky and I truly appreciate how so many people get caught out. Id sum it up as... technical!(Or extremely technical / scary!)
I’ve read that the tourist days are pretty sh*yte... our experience has been nothing but positive though. I half expected to see every second vehicle as German works van! The majority were doing spirited laps (if we truly wanted to fit in though we either would have turned up in an newish M3 or a GT3 (We were the poor relations in the car park)
Courteous driving... lots of pulling over to let us past... and we never held anyone up
I had one lap in the M5 taxi as a bit of treat- Truly amazing what a luxury saloon can do!(The aston was fully booked or Id have done that instead)
Twas great fun watching the different racing lines coming into corners... A real laugh for spectators (There was a 900bhp tricked out M3 drifting round brunchen)
All in all... I / we loved it!
(I’m sure my step-son was the best driver there... but I may be a tad biased though smile

Nice to see a koenigsegg in the car park getting ready to go out too

Glad you had a good time, it's an awesome place.

I went there 10 times last year and loved every moment of it. The best place on the planet for a petrolhead! smile

I was there over the weekend, I think I spotted you early doors on Sunday morning near the bottom of the car park. I was in a white E92 M3 (reg M3 BTG).

Sure was a mighty fine place... (Slight understatement!)
I kinda remember the plate but not the car btw (I'm still a bit dizzy with the amount of M3s n GT3's that were there)
Lots n lots of photos to trawl thru... hadn't seen the ones on yer link... thanks.
We are now back in sunny Suffolk having survived the Nordscleife...
Anyone thinking of going on a tourist day... Go for it... We are back in one piece with an intact car and my step-son had the driving experience of his life...
(Word of warning tho... Don't be expected to resist the temptation of a wee blast in the taxi... If I had my time over I'd have pre-booked the Aston)

Finally.. Heard of a westfield that popped out of the carousel and flew straight into the barrier ... I didn't know that was possible!
